Strahinja Pavlovic has reportedly informed Salzburg of his desire to join AC Milan in a bid to expedite the deal. The Rossoneri have had a slow start to
this summer’s transfer window but it is starting to take shape, having already signed Alvaro Morata for €13m. The
club plan to strengthen their squad in every position as they look to start a new project with newly appointed coach Paulo Fonseca. Milan
have identified Pavlovic as an option to bolster their defence, but are unhappy with Salzburg’s €30m valuation. However, that could change as no offers from the Premier League or Saudi Arabia have been received.
Milan are more optimistic than ever, having received ‘an assist’ from the player, and negotiations with Salzburg will now continue. The initial price tag was €30m but given the lack of offers from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia, the Austrian side have been forced to reconsider.
The Rossoneri have already made it known that they are willing to raise their offer, though without exaggerating. As such, it’s believed that the deal could close at around €20m including a couple of million in bonuses.

23-year-old centre-back has already agreed personal terms with Milan worth €1.5m plus add-ons. His fee is expected to end in around €20m,
and Milan are confident they will find an agreement soon and plan to complete it next week so the player can join the squad in time for their pre-season tour of America.
